Automatic optical test system

optifox is an automatic optical inspection system (AOI) whose standard features include unique OLS optics movable along two axes. As an option, the optics can also be rotated 15 degrees in all four directions. This permits height measurements of electronic modules by means of triangulation.

Optifox is an extremely robust device developed for automated optical tests on production lines. Optifox identifies specified objects even if they are positioned inaccurately, twisted, poorly illuminated or partly concealed.

Superior focus depth
An AOI system's performance depends especially on its optical capability. With a focus depth of over 30 mm, optifox supplies images of unprecedented depth and detail. Optifox provides large display details with co-axial illumination, thus allowing a precise identification of objects in 3D.    
 

Quick setup

optifox and its software have been based on standard interface policy from the beginning. The practical outcome is unrivalled speed and flexible handling. Find out how quickly new test environments can be set up.

For pattern matching, optifox simply needs a correct sample board. The test can be configured easily via the software. After this step, you just have to choose the control mode for your transport system: Manual, SMEMA or other standard. Now you are ready to test.
