Transformers have been a central main pillar of Tralec for a long time. The Tralec GmbH which emerged from AWEH Kirchner crafts transformers, chokes, spools and winding goods of all sorts  on behalf of our customers for more than 40 years. Beside our experts for calculation and design of our products we can fall back upon many years of experience to manufacture a product that will satisfy your demands.

Corona Transformers

We produce customised transformers for well-known manufacturer of Corona-Stations. They were used to roughening the surface of synthetic material using high voltage. Our Corona Transformers have following features:

  • One-Phase Transformer
  • Oil-immersed transformer
  • Power range up to 60 kVA
  • Voltage range up to 25 kV
  • Frequency range 10 - 30 kHz

Power Transformers

There are various numbers of applications of Power Transformers. On behalf of our customers we manufacture power transformers with following features:

  • One-phase transformers or Three-phase transformers
  • Dry model with separated windings
  • Basic insulation against electric shocks
  • Power range: Single phase up to 25 kVA /  Three-phase up to 40 kVA

Isolating Transformers 

Isolating Transformers are used, if there's a need for double or stronger high electric insulation.
We offer you isolating transformers with following features:

  • Dry model with separated windings
  • Protective separation between input and output windings
  • Power range: Single phase up to 25 kVA / Three-phase up to 40 kVA
  • Input voltage range: Up to 1000 V
  • Output voltage range: 50 - 1000 V

Isolating Transformers for medical devices 

This special transformer is used to ensure the energy supply in medical rooms and medical devices. Our products have following features:

Starting Transformers are used to lower the voltage while starting hugh electric motors and therewith lower the starting currents. Our Starting Transformers have following features:

Smoothing Chokes/ DC Chokes

Smoothing Chokes are used and appear in various numbers of applications. We manufacture customised Smoothing Chokes conform to norms with following features:

  • Voltage range: Up to 1000 V
  • Ripple W: up to 15%

Commutation Inductors

Commutation Inductors/DC Chokes cause a delay of the slope control during the electric torque.
Our Commutation Inductors have following features:

  • Power range: One-phase up to 10 kVA / Three-phase up to 15 kVA
  • Voltage range: Up to 1000 V
  • Frequency range: 50/60 Hz

Zero Point Chokes

Zero Point Chokes reduce the ripple current in a neutral conductor. Our Zero Point Chokes have following features:

  • Voltage range: Up to 1000 V
  • Frequency range: Up to 1 Mhz

Aerator transformer

A variable voltage is used to variate the engine speed of an aerator. The transformer for this usage (type EVTL and DVTL)are equipped with several secondary extractions, therefore you could adjust the engine speed of one-phase and three-phaseAC motors in different steps.

  • One-phase (EVTL) or Three-phase (DVTL) transformers
  • Power range: One-phase 360-3600 VA / Three-phase 540- 10 kVA
  • Input voltage range: One-phase 230 V / Three-phase 3x400 V
